Established in 1989, The Fajita Grill Corp. quickly earned a reputation for bringing high quality, authentic Mexican cuisine to Pleasant Hills. Finally the Pittsburgh area had an alternative to the impersonal assembly-line approach of the big chain “Mexican-style” establishments. The Fajita Grill was not “Mexican-style.” It was simply Mexican.
After eight very successful years at their suburban location, The Fajita Grill family brought the same level of quality and authenticity to their Shadyside location. They've filled a century old Pittsburgh house and its adjoining patio into with the spirit of la raza. Handmade mosaic tables, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera prints affixed to vibrant, primary- colored walls, and a spectacular outdoor patio- complete with a goldfish pond and fountain... The atmosphere does not merely enhance the experience of eating here, it is just one part of a great big delicious whole.
The menu items may change from time to time. The tables or walls may be a different color than your last visit. But the constants are the authenticity and the quality. It's asking that you trust.
